Hi - Party boy here

I'll probably get flamed for bringing this up in this forum since it's a bit off topic but this forum gets the most action so anyways...

Although for most of you those days are long gone, if it even applies to your individual experience, what do you consider the "drug of choice the New Wave generation"? Considering we are taliking about 1979-1986, I would say the "C" or "white Lady" rules the school here. No admission is required on this post, simply a matter of opinion if you care to leave one....

I think coke got the most visibility but I bet that good 'ole ganja still ruled the roost. Coincidentally, Del Taco Big Dels, Weinerschnitzel Chili-Cheese Dogs, and In-n-Out Double-Double's also became our favorties. [:I]

I think coke. In fact I heard thats quickly becoming the hot new drug now with the 80's revivial occurring. I heard the boys in Interpol (for sure on Carlos) have a love for the stuff. [:o)]

In those days, it was definately ganja for me. I moved on to the joys of vicodin & percoset later though. Better high, no red eyes or tell tale smell either.

It depended on what type of effect I wanted. If I was hanging out with friends in a familiar place and wanted to be mellow, then pot was preferred. If I was going out to socialize with strangers and wanted to be outgoing, then coke (or one of it's cheap

Well, I did a lot of different stuff. Coke was by far the drug of choice more then anything else. (made me smoke a million cigarettes) Manekineko has it right about acid. A very long, time consuming drug. I would add mescaline to that definition. Smoke

I would guess Coke...even though that is way before my era.


I love the ganja though. Mary Jane loves me....all the time.
