Has anyone heard this album? It's the one that came out after The Continental, right before they split up. Anyways, it's incredible. Beautiful strings throughout and much more mature than the Working Model & The Continental. Hope this gets released commercially one day.

No, this is the one right before it with the original line up from The Working Model & The Continental. The Age of Industry was from Love For Sale which was the second Boytronic line up with an entirely different singer and style, although it was still very synthy.

Nice to see there are some fans of this great German synth-pop/disco band. [:)]

Recently their second album "Continental" was re-issued in Geramny. It was very hard to find in CD format....great music on it... especially "Photographs".... but imo not quite as good as "Working Model"... maybe because Peter Sawatzki did not write all songs on it and band was having problems

"Love for Sale" and "Heart and Machine" are also Terrific albums all the way. Hayo Panarinfo can write great melodic synth tunes.

Sean,

I haven`t heard this one.Is the Boytronic album title called The Lost Album? If you could download anything from that album for a listen, would be fantastic. While it is fresh in my mind, I saw Hubert Kah - The Picture on an ART of Mix cd Volume 3 or 4. I`m not sure if this is the version you were looking for. I wish they would add on the Extended Version on RA5.

Kind Regards

I think he might be talking about Kamerata - Lovers and other strangers album (that's the album that original lead singer Holger Wobker released after he left Boyrtonic)

I myself never heard it... interesting to find out how it is, it's rather rare

By the way, who do you think was a better vocalsit... Holger Wobker (Continental and Working Model) or Marc Wade (Love for Sale and heart and machine)

The Working Model can be ordered from A Different Drum (and probably other places as well, that is just where I found mine) with bonus tracks. Also, The Continental is easily had from CD Baby and again, probably other places as well. Nice that these two are so finely remastered with bonus material.

That other one you mention I am not familiar with it, hopefully it too will see a CD release.

Both The Continental and Working Model might actually be orderable through The Ideal Copy, not sure, but always nice to give them the business if possible.
