Who likes here Wayne/Jayne County and the Electric Chairs?Really a big surprise,to listen totwo of their three albums,and to like them both!Killing street punky rock n' roll,bitchy attitude,sexually oriented songs and a chaotic tranvestite persona like Wayne/Jayne.Especially their''Things momma never told you'' album from 1979,sails into an electro-psych direction,through the cold production of David Cunningham(Flying Lizards)and the dark-sick lurics of County.Not for all the tastes,but i believe a pretty important band of punk/new wave.

Saw Wayne/Jayne with the Electric Chairs a few years ago in NYC. Great set but way too short (only about 30 minutes or so)

I like what I've heard from the Electric Chairs. I have an LP on tape, plus the retrospective CD that Wayne put out about 8 years ago. Very underrated band.
