Laura Brannigan...

....so much better than Corey Hart.

Even though it's sampling, I like her "Deep in the Dark" song. Lyrics are different, but same note-for-note song of Der Kommissar. The only other example I can think of(diff lyrics, same song) is "White Punks on Dope" by The Tubes, and "TV Glotzer" by Nina Hagen.

Anyways, what was I talking about? Yeah, Laura Brannigan, RIP. She was indeed a babe. Sure, totally mainstream in terms of music, but she was still welcome at the Gary Numan afterparties IMO. Work those spandex pants!

Ok as far as 80's pop culture figures are concerned, I'll definitely rate him higher than that F@#king purple dinosaur!

Laura is one of my all-time favorite singer, she is such a talented babe. I saw her in concert at least 4-5 times. I love all her albums but Branagan and Self Control are masterpieces of 80s pop. May she rest in peace.
