This morning I've been listening to a recent release by Iron & Wine called "our endless numbered days" and I think it's making for pretty great Sunday morning music....relaxed enough for my aging senses, but with enough credibility to keep me from getting into James Taylor territory....

I'm thinking of songs/lps I like to hear in that Sunday morning vein... or course my beloved Prefab Sprout Two Wheels Good, maybe early Everything but the Girl, Aztec Camera - -- I know there's got to be some lazy sunday am synth pop but it's escaping me...

My favorite Sunday morning listen might very well be side one of Eno's "Music for Airports" - - that piano pattern could repeat into infinity as far as I'm concerned.....

Nice choices. I might well have picked every one of those myself! How about Eno's "Another Green World"? If I'm thinking of the classic lazy Sunday, here's my impromptu mix...

At the computer this afternoon(which is my AM, heh)....the 50 Foot Wave mini-lp which is a rather harsh noiZe unit fronted by Kristin Hersh of Throwing Muses fame. Good stuff.
