I probably couldn't give an "exact moment". But, I did spend hours in my sister's room (probably to her irritation) listening to all of her Blondie, Cars, Stooges, and Clash albums when I was really little.

Watching David Bowie on Saturday night live sing "The Man who sold the world" with Klaus Nomi and Joey Arias.

Like edisonoside, I was watching Saturday Night Live, but it wasn't Bowie, it was Elvis Costello & the Attractions that practically blew the back of my head off. I'd never seen any act that looked or sounded like them before. [:0]
