Breakfast Club to reunite?

NEW YORK (AP) - Cast members of the 1980s ensemble movie The Breakfast Club may be getting together for a night.
At the 2005 MTV Movie Awards, to air June 9, the network plans to reunite the cast of the much-loved film, the cable channel said Friday.
Although Emilio Estevez, who played Andrew Clark, isn't confirmed, in attendance will be Molly Ringwald (Claire Standish), Ally Sheedy (Allison Reynolds), Anthony Michael Hall (Brian Johnson) and Judd Nelson (John Bender).
Yellowcard will perform the single Don't You Forget About Me from the 1985 film, directed by John Hughes.

Carl the janitor! He's awesome. He was also the "Bohunk" in Sixteen Candles, and I believe he was in Weird Science, too.

I guess "celebrities" are taking better care of ourselves these days, because if you look at the 50's teen idols who came back for the "Grease" movie 20 years after their heyday, they didn't age as well as the Breakfast Clubbers.

John Hughes is a god.
I prefer Sixteen Candles by a hair, but Breakfast Club is definitely one of the all-time great teen movies.

Three of 'em actually showed up. "Don't You Forget About Me" was bastardized. Ally Sheedy looks better than she did 20 years ago. Thanks MTV.
