New Wave Novel

Postby andrewkstone » Fri Jun 10, 2005 9:39 am

Hi Everyone,

I don't mean this as spam, but as I've been having such fun here, posting and reminiscing about music that I love so, I thought some of you might be interested in this post. I'm a published author of two books -- both are set in Boston, and one -- ALL FLOWERS DIE -- is set predominantly in Boston's 80s pop music scene. In the book, I've created a fictional band and have them play in many actual (and now classic) venues -- The Rat, The Channel, t.t's the Bear's -- along with bands of the day -- 'til tuesday, Robin Lane and The Chartbusters, The Neighborhoods.

You don't have to be a fan of the Boston music scene to enjoy these books, but if you are, ALL FLOWERS DIE gives you a little "extra." As one reviewer said, “ALL FLOWERS DIE is the definitive Boston rock and roll novel.”

So, I'd like to invite you to my website, http://www.sotherebooks.com where you can read the first chapter of both ALL FLOWERS DIE and DISAPPEARING INTO VIEW. The books are carried in stores throughout the US and Canda, as well as online.

Thanks for your time - enjoy your weekend!

All best,

Andy
