Question Regarding Green Day's "Good Riddance"

I'm sure you guys have this song somewhere in your collection. One of my all time favourites and I have a question about it. The beginning of the song, when he plays the acoustic guitar, he burbed out a word or a sound. I never really payed attention to it before but this morning I listened to it very carefully and it sounded like he said the "f" word. Did he? I mean I would be surprised if they did try to stick that in there subliminally knowing Green Day's history.

I love that song to. I don't recall anything but the first line of the song in the beginning. Interesting though. I need to take a better listen.

It's before he sings his first line. It's in the acoustic guitar intro where he briefly stops.

That's what I thought he said, but it's not terribly clear.
