What one song epitomizes New Wave in your mind more than any other? It doesn't have to be your favorite song, just the one that makes you go "yeah, New Wave - Yum!". The Psychedelic Furs' "Love My Way" does it for me. It's vastly overplayed but I never get tired of hearing it's hauntingly beautiful synth strings, cool-cool xylophone, sparse but powerful guitar and driving beat. Echo & The Bunnymen's "The Killing Moon" also does it for me.
