my early 80's AOR mix tape....

Digging through the attic, I found a mix tape of lesser-known AOR songs from the late 70's / early 80's, among the usual new wave tapes. Looking back, for some of the groups I tended to pick a good album track instead of the single at the time. 2Nu's recent Prism thread is prompting me to see if any of you are willing to admit knowing any of the following...

SPYS - She Can't Wait
Whitford/St. Holmes - Don't Shy Away
The Producers - She Sheila
Starz - Cherry Baby
707 - I could be good for you
Off Broadway - Stay in Time
Harlequin - Thinking of You
Ace Frehley - New York Groove
Hawks - It's Okay
Dwight Twilley - Trying to find my baby
Phil Seymour - Don't Let Daddy find out
Benny Mardones - Sheila C
Martin Briley - Just a mile away from here
The Kings - Don't Let me know

Who would've been on YOUR mix tape????

(please don't let me throw a brick on this thread.........)

Not to worry. I have Starz "Violation", Off Broadway USA "On", the Ace Frehley album, the Benny Mardones album, and The Kings "The Kings Are Here". There is NOTHING wrong with The Kings! Switchin' To Glide is a great tune and it's even one of the NWO # of posts rankings. No shame in that. [:D]

Harlequin!! Great band. I was listening to a best of cd this past week, and you can add Innocence to any mix tape.
