Terrific Message Board

I've been lurking for quite a while now, but finally got the nerve to post.

I love this message board and it's inspired me to go back and try to collect a number of songs that I'd almost forgotten.

What P2P services have folks had luck with for finding this type of music? I tried Soulseek - are there any others you would recommend? The RIAA BS has got me staying away from Kazaa since they seem to target that one.

I'll check it out, thanks.

Found the video to XTC's "Funk-Pop-a-Roll" on Soulseek last night. It's good to know that there are some kindred spirits out there.

After much searching, I finally got "Fire Island" by Secession on Limewire. I've found a wide range there -- Kissing the Pink, Dream Syndicate, Fleshtones, Human League, Heaven 17, Stranglers, XTC...the list goes on...

that captain sensible song is "There Are More Snakes Than Ladders"

actually i'd suggest using a combonation of soulseek, emule(excellent for old music videos) and limewire. there are servers you have to choose to log onto on emule but i'm on the bigges

Golfer -- RIAA is the Recording Indsutry Association of America and I think this is the situation: They're going after anyone they can to protect copyrighted music. I beieve they were the ones who shut Napster down originally and I think they've sued use
