What bands that are out now, do you think

Two words for you Franz Ferdinand, an amazing band they have that 80's sound to them, "Take Me Out" kind of sounds like Egyptian Reggae by Jonathan Richman & The Modern Lovers
here's some others:
Freezepop
The Killers
Veils
The Rasmus?
Thanks,

I highly recommend the Swedish group The Sounds. Their debut album "Living in America" has that classic new wave sound--influences include Blondie, Missing Persons, Berlin, etc. You'll swear you already know every track on the album.

I Am the World Trade Center.
This is a great band with a really stupid name, chosen prior to 9-11. Great new wave dance music. I'm listening to their new album "The Cover Up" right now and it's straight out of 1983.
