Bands that released less than an album's worth?

1. Did LAX release more than just "Ronnie's Song"? I have a feeling there's an old LP by them just waiting for me to find it.

2. Confirmed that Hilary only had like 5 songs.

3. Glamour Cult. Anything more than Tokyo Streets?

4. Big in Japan, confirmed to only have 5-6 songs. Good ones though.

Great, brain block. Now I have to check through my mp3 lists to see if there are any "one-hit" artists.

There was a thread a while ago about bands that only released an EP. Does that fit your criterion?

Since this applies to most of the bands I really like:

Leisure Process
The Mood
Julia & Company
Raw Silk

As well as these great one-off singles:

Aces - One Way Street
Small Ads - Small Ads (fairly sure they're one off)
Defuser - World Suicide
Suspenders - Wehrmacht Style
Basking Sharks - New Industry

I am quite interested in this topic, as well.[:)]

Did Rheingold ever put out a whole album? All I know by them is the five song EP Fan Fan Fanatic.

Fun With Animals put out a single called "The Test of Love and Sex" but I don't recall ever seeing any album.

This seems to be a compilation album with just one track from ITFR [:(]

I can add a bit of info about a few of these:

1. Glamor Cult

British:

They had at least 3 ep's (2 self titled & Tokyo Streets) but most of the stuff is a bit different than Tokyo Streets.

2. Basking Sharks

Frank Chickens:

They released 2 ep's (Thrill of the Game, New Industry) and an lp titled Shark Island which is very rare. I managed to buy a copy from Adrian Todd of the group a while back.

And I can confirm that Invisible Frame is indeed a comp, with 1 track by Ice The Falling Rain. BTW, I bought a new copy of that comp off eBay for 2 GBP, about 3 months ago, so $57.50 might be a bit high.

As for Invisible Frame, I just did a search on Gemm to get the info, thanks for clearing things up.

Basking Sharks:

I got "New Industry" on The New Wave Complex Vol.9, and the only other releases I've seen for sale went for "how much??" prices.

Frank:

I've only seen Thrill of the Game for sale once, but it was a trashed copy.(I bought it) Adrian of the group sold me a new copy of both Thrill and Shark Island for 10.00 GBP. They used to have a website promoting the release of Shark Island in CD format, but nothing came of it, and the link seems dead now. I've seen Shark Island sell for at least $100.00 on 2 occasions (used).
