What New Wave artist would you be?

Come on, tell the truth - just for kicks! If you could be an artist from the eighties for one day, who would you be? I think I'd be Bernard Sumner of New Order dropping acid before going onstage at the Pier in NYC, 1986, playing my ass and then going out clubbing til daybreak.[:D]

Ian Curtis, so just before I killed myself I could write 'Bernard Sumner did this' and then make it look like a homicide...[xx(]

I'm not so fond of this Burundian humor.

I'd choose David Lee Roth and would immediately embark on a tour of local high schools and colleges.

okay, I thought about it and I got one:

Klaus Nomi performing "The Cold Song." When I saw the clip of that performance in The Nomi Song, I was moved. I need to get the DVD to see the full performance.

Chris Stein.

That way I would have been sleeping with Debbie Harry.

Probably Michael Hutchence - he seemed very cool & had a lot of fun.
At first I thought Bono might work - but it would be a drag to be so serious all the time.

No, I'd rather have you be Michael Hutchence so I could have jumped your bones that day! [;)] [:D]
