Not the White House dude but the Glycerine, Swallowed, and Everything Zen folks. There were a few acts that helped me through the 90s like the Pumkins, Beck, and Radiohead. Bush was short-lived without a huge body of work, but they were definately one of the better post-grunge, tolerable alterno bands. How are they viewed by new wavers?

I actually own of their albums. I have to admit it's pretty good stuff. My two favorite songs off the album were comedown and glycerine. When they came out back in 1995 music was starting to go downhill a little. But they were a very good band. Another really good band around the same time was Collective Soul.

And yeah, '95 to '00 was a dark time for the rebellion...er...good alt music. You had to listen to something.

I really liked Bush's debut album, but I thought RAZORBLADE SUITCASE was a bit of a disappointment. It only had a couple of good tunes then I lost interest in them.

There were some good tunes, but they sort of fizzled out as soon as they hit the 2000 atmosphere.

"Glycerine" was one of my favourites even though it got played to death at KROQ when it first came out.

If there's other bush that can squeeze out a good rendition of Glycerine, then by all means, talk about that all you want!

I can whistle "Dixie" with my nose, but not "Glycerine," unfortunately[:I]

I liked Bush, but it beared way too much resemblance with Pearl Jam. I dug some of their songs and I even bought a Pearl Jam album, but I was more into stuff like Inspiral Carpets, early Goo Goo Dolls, Matthew Sweet, Sonic Youth, and Soul Asylum. They weren't as big as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and The Smashing Popcorns, but to this day I can pop in a cd of theirs and I'm taken back to the daze of ratty flannel, dirty blue jeans, army boots, and beanies[8D]
