Just wanted to say that I saw the recent 80's revival concert in Denver the other night. Dramarama and Missing Persons were great (Dale was SERIOUSLY rambling between songs), Flock of Seagulls was decent (slightly better then on Hit Me Baby One More time but with the same lineup), and English Beat were good as well (very professional).
But Devo finished up the night and blew them all away. Hysterical and full of energy. Plus it looked like the original lineup. Can't recommend them highly enough!
See them while you still can spuds![:p]

I went to high school in Kent, Ohio with Roger Casale, the brother of the Devo members. I remember he would wear the yellow suit to school at halloween. I doubt he would remember me however.

Why isn't this show touring all over?

I saw DEVO in 1979 and it still sticks in my memory as one of the best shows I've ever seen.
I read recently that Mark Mothersbaugh is really busy with his soundtrack stuff, not sure if he's got time to tour or whatever.

Mark Mothersbaugh is adopting a child from China -- that's why they had to change the tour dates. He was hoping the paperwork would come through at the end of the tour, but hey, that's life.

Saw them in June at the Atlanta Midtown music fest. They were excellent! Did they start with the yellow uniforms then strip down to their underwear and knee/elbow pads as the show went on?

I saw them at the Hollywood House of Blues in August (my fourth time). Great as always, and "Wiggly World" and "Going Under" were real treats, especially the former, as it's one of my top favorite Devo songs. I was in my homemade "Freedom Of Choice" silver suit and official dome.

I went to the August 4th Anaheim show and am also going to be attending the Oakland show on October 8th. I am traveling all the way down from Seattle to go and it is well worth it. Drumming for their live performances is done by Josh Freese, member of The Vandals and A Perfect Circle.
