I have both of his albums.Although the first one is just an EP really.Excellent musicianship, and record. His cover of Bob Dylan's "Blowing In The Wind" cracks me up each time I hear it,as I can't really picture somebody like him doing a cover of this song, because of his vocals, seem out of place with this song.

I like his song "Change Reaction" the best, from that EP.And of course his real biggy "Escalator Of Life" was also really cool as well.

Yeah, his first EP is great. I saw him play with the Heros at a local club in 1984. He had a big following in the Philly area.

Besides his own work, Robert Hazard wrote Cindi Lauper's break-out hit "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun". He often played the so

Thanks for the song link Ollie!

I'm not sure how to tell you this, but I'm almost certain that your song is NOT Robert Hazard. The voice isn't right, the band sound isn't right, let alone the altered lyrics...

The Robert Hazard version of the song

My appologies if it's not the original version. I heard the original in a record store in 1983 and never heard it since. I remember the lyrics being something akin to the version I posted: "Girls just wanna have fun and boys just wanna have sex".

I believe your cover was done by a gay-oriented group called Exude in the late 80s. I don't know anything else about the group.

I was killing time at the record store today and found the Exude album. That is definately the version that I mistook for the Rbt Hazzard original.

Robert Hazard actually had 2 full LP's plus his EP. I have the EP from 1982, then the LP Wing of Fire (1984 RCA) and Darling (1986 RHA). Both LP's are very good. I made them into CD-R's for work; also check his web site, he sells stuff, although he indica
