You are correct! This song is amazing.
My son started to listen to it from the NWO CD's and I didn't think much of it. But then a couple of months later I started listening to the NWO CD's (I think it's on CD 1) and, damn, if it didn't worm its way into my brain.
Why it was never a hit on KROQ is beyond me. Because I never heard it before my son started to play it.
