Please let me know if I am alone in thinking that Flash and the Pan (whom I love) released as singles their lamest songs? ( except for Hey St Peter and Down Among The Dead Men ) Lame songs such as "Ayla" , "Waiting For a Train" , "Media Man" are the reasons I feel they were not as popular as they deserved to be. I would think songs like "Up Against The Wall" , "Saviour Man" , "Psychos On The Street" , and "Lights in the Night" would have been better choices , just to name a few.

Would have to somewhat agree with ya Randy...with the exception of Waiting for a Train. I always thought it had a really cool, kinda Lou Reed vibe to it. It's just not as instantly catchy as some of their other popular songs.

I always liked these guys but thought their last cd , Burning Up The Night was just plain awful. Seems like they forgot what good music was.

Have to agree with Lights In The Night--great song!! Also really liked She Makes Her Own Cross and California.

"Waiting For a Train" was a big hit over here, and their collection just shows how solid they were.
