Dallas.
Fantasy Island.
Happy Days.
Three's Company.
Laverne & Shirley.
Battlestar Galactica.
Buck Rogers.
Star Trek, TNG.
Dukes of Hazzard.
Silver Spoons.
Diff'rent Strokes.
Incredible Hulk.
mmmmm.....that's all I can think of right now.

Oh yeah, G-Force/Battle of the Planets owned and ruled like no animation ever could. Did you ever check out the Japanese remake they did in the early nineties? Ownage. English subtitles. ROCK.

Never saw the 90's version of G-Froce. That show was a treat for me as my podunk town didn't even offer a way of getting the USA Network. I could only watch it at my grandparents' place in a larger city an hour away.

If it hadn't been for Night Tracks, I'd probably be a country music fan right now. We didn't get MTV here until 1991, so Night Tracks was my only source of new wave music/videos.

Dallas really? Not to many men would own up to that. Who shot J.R was such a good episode. I think it went down hill when it was revealed that Kristen shot him.

COME ON PEOPLE!!
The best damned show anywhere was Night Flight.
Oh yeah and all the other video shows that existed before eMTyV flexed their slimy corporate muscle and made them vanish.

Magnum PI started its run in 1980 and showed its last episode in 1988.
A great run through the eighties.
BTW - the first 2 seasons are on DVD and hold up suprisingly well.

FYI:
Happy Days ran from '74 to '84
Dukes ran from '79 to '85.
Star Trek TNG was from '87 to '94.
Hulk ran from '77 to '82.
The original Battlestar Galactica does not qualify - it aired from '78 to '79 (sorry Marv), although I clearly remember watching it in syndication throughout the '80's.
How about "Simon & Simon"? It ran from '81 to '88 (yes, I like cheep detective shows).
Anyone remember "Riptide" which aired from '84 to '86. I enjoyed that one quite a bit.
