Remember these girls from the eighties? They were actually on a Dr.Pepper commercial too.Kind of an odd mix of Laurie Anderson,Telex,Laurie Anderson.Nasaly monotone over very a minimalist usage of a DX-7 with background effects (Dogs barking,rockets being fired off etc...)

dude, i totally remember them ! i had (have ?) a cassette by them, taped from somewhere. i particularly liked "Macho Robot". your description was quite apt: VERY minimalist DX-7 primitive stuff, but trippy and fun.
