Some of my favorite bands from the 80's include:

The Chameleons
China Crisis
Comsat Angels
The Church
The Windbreakers
The Fixx
Endgames
Figures On A Beach

Just curious to find out if there are any fans out there?

Love The Church, Chameleons, Windbreakers (what, a POP band here?). The Fixx, and Comsat Angels are OK. Not familiar with Endgames or Figures On a Beach, nor China Crisis.

I love China Crisis and the Comsat Angels. Arizona Sky is such a great song! I like the Church and the Chameleons quite a bit as well.

I've never heard of the Windbreakers...maybe I'll download a song or two and check them out...any suggestions?

My first instinct would be to jump on the ElectricLash bandwagon and point out that one of these bands (the Windbreakers) is not like the others. Ironically, the second time I saw the Church

Bowiestation: The Windbreakers were in the jangly guitar pop like REM, Let's Active. For some reason, they just never really caught on. I suppose that could be said for a lot of bands. Endgames, China Crisis,

Yes, Golfer, The Church are excellent and probably have influenced many people around the world. I saw them in concert on Long Island back in 1987 or 1988 and that concert still gives me the chills. They are fantastic!!! You Aussies have had a tremendo
