New Wave Singles Sleeves

My friend Max just sent me a link to The Endless Groove, which is a site comprised of a compendium of scanned photographs of New Wave singles sleeves! Really great site! Thought many of you would enjoy looking through some of the great New Wave singles artwork! Everyone from Lene Lovich, Kirsty MacColl,The Records, Joe Jackson, Gang of Four, to some prety obscure bands and artists like Jook, Ian Gomm, The Textones, and Celia and the Mutations.

That's really great - It's a little overwhelming at first - I'll have to check it out again. I remember so many of them, and have a few.

I miss those types of covers too. It just goes to show that New Wave was more than music - but a whole cultural & artistic movement also.

By the way - I really love The Police's Can't Stand Losing You cover!

You just made my night. Honestly. What an amazing link. The sleeves are great. And I went to that site's links and discovered one called modpunkpop and it is also incredible....lots of great songs to listen to. I'm going nuts.
Now THAT is why I love you guys.

I'm with Dan Coogan. I wonder if they accept scans of old record sleeves. Unfortunately most of mine were damaged in a leaky attic (although luckily the actual singles survived in tact).

It is a good site.

Actually, I think he probably would accept scans from old sleeves. I noticed that he mentioned that he received many of the scans from friends.

And bpdp3, that modpunkpop site IS da bomb! Spent all afternoon going through it!
