New Wave Outpost Forum

I'd like your help getting together a poll for the [i]Best Latter-Day New Wave Songs.[/i] These are your top 5 to 10 best/favorite songs by [i]Original New Wave Artists[/i], but ones that came out [i]After 1990.[/i] I'll then see what got the most votes or put in great choices that others hadn't thought of and make a poll.

Someone commented that this latter-day stuff doesn't get enough attention or that people just don't buy this stuff. I'd say that many people just grew up, got busy, got a life and lost touch with what was out there. Obivously this poll ignores lots of great new music by new artists, but that's another topic. The 80s? Not as St Etienne. Sarah Cracknell did vocals on a few songs (not SE), and Pete and Bob put out a few tracks..But anything with SE as the artist is post 1990 IIRC.

Adam Ant had a CD out in the early 90's that had a few good tunes on it, one was called "Wonderful" which If I recall people either loved or hated that song. I thought it was a good song, but not good enough to make it on my iPod [:D]
