Well it's about time, now finally The Comateens have a website that fans can go to and check out.Unfortunately it isn't very good at all.Almost all of the different pages don't work and there is hardly anything on the site or any info on the band, even though it has those listed.I could have done a much better job in creating a website for them, let alone a website that has any kind of information.

I would much rather see no website on them, than have a half created website that has very little, and hardly any info on the band.Go here to see what I am talking about, and when you are done, let's talk about it and see if our opinions share the same.

Well, I just checked the site out and it appears to me that it is still in development (I hope). It certainly needs more work!

I always liked this band alot and played the album "Pictures On A String" non stop back in 1983. How wonderfully eery the singer sounded like John Lennon on "Cold Eyes". Even the music sounded like something John Lennon would produce.

Anyone know if that album or their other albums will be pressed to cd anytime soon? This would be a great project for Superfecta or Wounded Bird!!! It is a shame that their work has not been pressed onto cd.

I know exactly what you mean and how you feel Dog.My sentiments exactly. They need all of their old albums put to CD and in a hurry before fans forget who they even were.Only kidding.Thanks.

I loved them and listened to Pictures on a String over and over as well. One of the band members died in the late 80s, I believe...

I actually have a "Best of Comateens" CD that I found in a used bin many years ago. It's a French import, of all things. Sadly, the version of "Ghosts" is a rerecording, not the original EP version.

BTW, their cover of the Munsters theme is included on Rhino's "Just Can't Get Enough: New Wave Halloween" comp.

So you're saying the site is a "Late Mistake?" [:D]
