Hey Everyone,

I lived my teens and early twenties in twenties in the 80s. So I was going through my old pics a few months back and came across my 80s stash and fell over laughing!! What a great decade!!

I was in a number of local L.A. bands back then so I have some pretty choice band shots from the time...Shinny jackets, eyeliner, big hair, massive hairspray...the whole deal...and I looked like that daily...and so did my friends!

Anyway...it got me thinking other people from the time must have some good pics as well so I got inspired and built this site with my buddy:

The site has only been up for a few weeks so if you enjoy it...spread the word...and if you have any pics please put them up. The biggest challenge so far is people finding their old pics and gettin' 'em up there. It's all just for fun so go enjoy it!!

Wow, people were so beautiful back then -- I wish people still wore their hair, clothes and make-up like that [:(]

I was your typical punk rocker back in the 80s: ripped jeans, leather jacket, t shirts, bandannas, shaved head, etc... Towards the latter part of the decade, I grew my hair out & dyed it black which made me look like the long lost Ramone.

Question: You have the Coreys listed as 1982. Not sure you have the date correct here. More like 1987 and the lost boys promo in that picture.

Accuracy is everything - Example the movie The Wedding Singer - Great movie but having early 80's tunes mixed with mid 80's stuff makes me wonder what the F*ck! [:D]

Yeah I hear you on the Coreys...I think someone just uploaded that for fun. I'll see if I can get in there and fix the date though. People from all over the world have started uploading their pics...it seems like people are starting to have a good time with it. Can't wait to see yours!!

I was a radio news reporter from '83 on. I DJ'd from 78-83. I loved living in the 80's but I didn't dress the part much. Looking back, I regret it a bit now. But I certainly remember enjoying looking at the people around me.

I wore plenty of pins/buttons though. I still have a few of them.

OMG Mike, you were hot in the '80s! I think I would've definitely fancied you. AND you've still "got it". Um, please forgive me for perving over pictures of you! Actually, I'll stick to fancying the '80s you so it won't get weird! And, um, I'll check out the rest of the site now, thanks.

(I don't believe I looked particularly '80s in the '80s -- I think I looked like an average '80s prepubescent, but not really "Eighties". Oh yeah, there was that rest of the site I was supposed to be checking out by now....)
