Ah, what memories [:D]

Here are the ones I remember:
Is Vic There? - Department S (Good song, but I preferred their other 2 singles, "Going Left Right" and "I Want" so much more. I believe the lead singer had dated Sarah from Bananrama, and passed away about 10 years ago. Feel free to correct my if my info in incorrect)
The Dominatrix Sleeps Tonight - Dominatrix (This is obscure? You couldn't go to a club without this song being played. WLIR played it as well.)
Googoomuck - The Cramps (I always enjoyed this one, but I don't know how obscure it is)
White Horse - Laid Back (Never liked this song, and I don't think I ever will)
I'm unfamiliar with the other songs you've listed, devildog, so I'll say they are truly obscure. [:)]

I've got ISM's - "I Think I Love You" 7" single. The picture sleeve is a classic.

The following are not obsure to me:

ISM - "I Think I Love You" is a favorite of mine and I have a compilation with it laying around somewhere. A really great cover.
Department S - "Is Vic There" is a great tune I hadn't even recalled ever hearing until about 10 years ago...so, yeah, I guess it was somewhat obscure for me
Big Black - "Dead Billy" A good song. Although I'm not a huge Big Black fan, I own "Atomizer" and think Steve Albini is cool.
Dominatrix - "The Dominatrix Sleeps Tonight" is a good song that I have on some compilation.
Laid Back - "White Horse" I agree wholeheartedly with skinnytie. I hated this song.
Cramps - Goo Goo Muck" not very obscure at all.

But, you got me with the rest. They most definitely are obscure to me.

Instead of obscure, I should have used the phrase "off the wall"

Wow I remember having a tape a friend made me with this song on it. I had forgotten about it.... I assume this is the same band. Very quirky punk with a really waked out keyboard lead????

A friend introduced me to Goo Goo Muck about 1990. Great song, you got a copy I could borrow? [:D]. I heard the Dominatrix one recently on a compilation I borrowed from a friend. The others are lost on me.

As for Grunch's obsucre songs - Yeah, I think I've heard most of 'em one time or another.

Yes, I was just proving my fun (ok, idiotic) side......actually, there are some rarities out there I'd love to get my hands on, and many that I do have:

Smart Opera - Beauty On The Interstate
Empire
If Then Why - Countercirular EP
Eleven Pond

to name a few......although I guess I have 100s, no more like 1000s of tracks from the 80s (we're not talking the top 100 only), it amazes me how much more is still out there I don't even know about. I am always willing to swap homegrown CD-R's with anyone, or mp3 formats. I have some good mp3 80s extended version discs with about 110 tracks each (not as many songs because of track lengths); lots of CD-R's also from my vinyl collection. Ask devildog, he can attest to their quality. He gets copies of almost all of my vinyl CD-R's; I've made 2-fers of The Vels, Comateens, also the Comateens best of with the later tracks from 91, etc......also have EVERY track from Icicle Works, including their stuff on Troll Kitchen prior to Beggars Banquet, etc......hey, I am interested in receiving some 80's stuff I am looking for or am not familiar with, in exchange for passing along some of my tracks to you. Anyone interested???

Way to go, Grunch!! I too, would be glad to trade cd-rs, etc. I have plenty as well.
