I need to figure out what a certain song is called. I think that Third Eye Blind sings it cuz it sounds like them a lot. The chorus goes something like this:

And if you, want to buy me flowers, just go ahead now.
And if you, want to talk for hours, just go ahead now.

Spin Doctors, I think.

This is from the early 90's and is the Spin Doctors and neither them nor Third Eye Blind are new wave in the least. The horrible Two Princes song is what you are looking for though.

both seem to use the same riff in spin doctor's "two princes" and third eye blind's "semi-charmed life". both excellent 90's songs.

Bah, I can't stand either band. And what were the Spin Doctors thinking with those horrible tassled winter hats? Sorry, I've heard their insufferable "Yo Mama's A Pyjama" tune and I'm bitter! No thanks.[xx(][xx(][xx(][8)]
