A good week for NEW releases on iTunes:

*Two new singles from Franz Ferdinand- "Fabulously Lazy" and "Your Diary".

*Kaiser Chiefs- "Hard Times Send Me" - Single.

*A very interesting Nextwave sounding band called "The Goods". Check out "Midnight" and "Time Can't Wait".

*And then there's Journey's 'Live In Houston 1981: The Escape Tour'... OK, this was going to be a joke but after sampling it I may have to do some downloading. Call it a Guilty Pleasure. The real joke comes at the end of this post, keep reading...

*Television 'Marquee Moon / Adventure / Live At the Waldorf (The Complete Elektra Recordings Plus Liner Notes)'. Includes 34 songs.

*Another interesting band, The Syn. Check out "Some Time, Some Way" (Album Version) from their 'Syndestructible' album. Sounds like Snif N The Tears mixed with Dire Straits.

*You've got to hear the new "Time After Time" remake by Cyndi Lauper w/ Sarah McLachlan on Cyndi's album "The Body Acoustic". She revamps many of her other big songs as well.

*And, I kid you not, there's FOUR different versions of R. Kelly's opus, "Trapped In the Closet (Chapters 1-12). That's right, a concept album ( four actually) based on ONE song.
