Yeah, I'm a huge acoustic fan. Really down home, gritty, raw, honest, stripped down and organic. I have an acoustic Marvy Marv compilation series entitled "Acousticially" [:p] Not necessarily all New Wave though, if you're interested Blir.

Damn. Y'all beat me to The Smiths! I'm thinking something slow by Squeeze, but I think theirs are electric... soooo...

How about "It's A Mistake" by Men At Work? That one, I think had some acoustic guitar in it. I also think Marshall Crenshaw did some acoustic stuff, but he's very Rockabilly, more than Stray Cats and probably closer to Chris Isaak in style.
