Last weekend in the U.K. British Sea Power (who somebody on here adores...I keep forgetting who) and experimental "Kraut-rock" legends Faust played a gig together that climaxed into a show ending jam. For some reason, Faust lead singer Jean-Herve Peron got into a fistfight with British Sea Power bassist Hamilton during an extended drum solo. A spokesperson for British Sea Power said Faust were annoyed because the drum solo was "too avant garde and free-form".

Ouch! Take that, Faust!

I heard about that.Ii had some acquaintances who were there. Though they said it wasn't that big a deal. The old Faust guys thought BSP were being a bit too raucous that's all. But I sure as shit would have loved to have seen this - must have been an epic four hours!

I think the biggest statement on BSP is that someone like Faust would actually invite them to play. You think these pissy peons like Coldplay or Killers would have been invited to play with Faust? Fuck no!
