I thought that their first album was very underated as much as both of The Inmates albums.Can't recall Sniff's second album as much as their first one.And who didn't like their hit "Driver's Seat? That is one New Wave hit you never hear on any 80's retro flashback shows today at all,and it was so good.Their lead singer Paul Roberts,eventually left the band and then took over as the new lead vocalist for The Stranglers,after Hugh Cornwell left the band,back in the early 90's.

Do any of you remember Sniff 'N' The Tears? If so do you recall any of their music or any of their albums?

Sniff N The Tears are definitely overlooked. They have four albums:

Love Action
Ride Blue Divide
Fickle Heart (this has the song Driver's Seat)
The Games Up

One of those "are they new wave or not?" artists. Tough call for me, but "Driver's Seat" is a minor classic.

I only rememember "Drivers Seat" as well.Never heard their albums,but that song from 1979 is very good.Especially, the long version.

It's funny this topic is brought up. "Driver's seat" was just played yesterday on DayGlo Radio, which plays predominantly 80s new wave.

I know a lot of people consider it New Wave and it was played on KROQ twenty odd plus years ago, but WHY?
