For those who remember Eurogliders,I thought that the very first album was excellent as far as rare and obscure New Wave went(at least in the states they would be considered rare and obscure)I also thought that their lead female vocalist at the time was quite sexy for the time.I believe that they were from Australia.They charted very breifly even in their own country for a short time,and had a couple of major hits,that I liked such as the following songs.

Another Day In The Real World(Another Day A Oh)
Heaven(Must Be There) which I see did make it to the US charts but at a mere number #65 which is a top 100 hit,and didn't do very well not at that number.Great song nonetheless.

Someone-This might be my favorite song of all 4 of their hits.I would have to take a look again at their first album,because I believe they had one more song that charted in Australia,which I think is the first song that starts off side 2 of their first album.I just can't remember the name of the song.Help me out somebody if you can? Can anyone tell me what the name of that other hit of theirs was? Like I said it is the very first song that starts out on side 2.

Agree that "Heaven" was the best known, but I know "Can't Wait to See You" received at least some airplay from WLIR. Great Aussie band.

I always liked them. In the late 90's, the now defunct Renaissance lable issued a two-fer cd containing both their albums. I would imagine this cd is hard to find today.

"This Island", "Absolutely", and "Groove" were released on CD in Australia (probably out of print now). "Maybe Only I Dream", the greatest hits, is still available as an import. I await the day when "Pink Suit, Blue Day" (their debut) will be rereleased
