Single Bullet theory

Hi All,
Im new to the boards. I usually only mess around with Aor - Hard rock ect but decided to take on a huge project of compiling ever song to hit the top 100 billboards from 1980-89. I ran across the above band and had a heck of a time locating the song keep it tight. I finally found it on a new wave comp cd on ebay. Anyway my question is... Are these guys really new wave or do they sound harder. They definetly dont look new wave

VERY new wave sounding. It may make you nauseus. And don't confuse them with Single Gun Theory, a more electropop outfit that I find more palatable.

Hey,
Thanks for the song. Boy they really fooled me by the way they looked. Definetly new wave. I love this project I am working on. I have gotten to hear so much stuff from the early 80s that I had no clue was out. This site is great and should be a huge help to me. Im not a huge fan of new wave but still find alot of songs I really like. I FINALLY was able to find this single bullet theary song on ebay. It was released on a New wave hits #9.

I first heard them in the compilation ''Sharp Cuts''(a great one), with their hit''Keep it tight''.Later,found their lp which is rather good but carries all the big production of 80s mainstream.But glad i have it, because the song really kills...

I don't have any of their early indie stuff, but I do have everything Nemperor released (s/t album, 2 45s, 2 music videos), and there isn't a bad track to be found there.

Well, they may be annoyed that their label dared to try to press a 45 of a song they didn't write, but "Hang on to Your Heart" remains my favorite song of theirs. When I was learning how to play guitar, the opening riff of that was one of the first things I practiced.
