Wanted: 1 New Wave Celebrity Host

Postby avcool4u » Wed Dec 07, 2005 3:57 am

Hi Folks!

On February 10, 2006, Club Infinity in Buffalo NY is having a really cool event. They're calling it:
"The Worlds Largest 80's Party"
This isn't an official announcement just yet, but so far the
headlining act is A Flock Of Seagulls.
There will be two opening bands, one of which is my band, ROAR84.

We are looking for a celebrity from the 80's as a host for the show.
There will be prizes for best 80's look, and all sorts of activities. Dj, bands and lots of people. The venue can hold 6-700 or so easily.

Does anyone on here know of where we can get a hold of anyone who would be a good host? We have a coupld of leads already, but nothing is set in stone yet.
The post about the 80's movies got me thinking.
Are any of these people available for public appearances:
Molly Ringwald, Anthony Michael Hall, Kirk Cameron, Emilio Estevez,
you get the idea.
Any suggestions anyone? Contact info?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help us out.
-Tobes

I wouldn't try for Kirk Cameron. He'd insist that everyone join in a prayer circle. How about trying to get that weirdo Australian battery seller, Jacko? (Oy!!!)

How about Christopher Lloyd from Back To The Future.

Or, if not Kirk, how about Tracey Gold. She's into the bar scene.
Just don't let her drive after.

If there's anyone who represents the 80's I'd say it's Steve Guttenberg. And I'd hazard a guess that he's available.

True Story: Steve Gutenberg's best friend owns Pappalardo's Pizza Cove in Massapequa, NY. Give him a call.

Don't know about needing anymore 80's DJs, but if we do, i'll let you know right away.

Steve G. does look like a good candidate, have to see about getting in contact with his agent.

Any more ideas anyone?

Oh yeah, that fat bitch goes to letter openings as long as there's a free buffet table, but you've no doubt heard what happened recently so no George.
