New Wave Outpost Forum

I hear a lot of new wave outpost members talk about keeping new wave alive and kicking. I think one way is to bombard the airwaves with new wave. I listen to http://www.fnxradio.com in Boston.They're a good station that still plays some new wave but not enough.If outpost members make new wave request on this station I'll do the same for there favorite station.There's strengh in numbers. Viva New Wave !!

Though this is not an exclusively New Wave station, check out Radio Free Phoenix; http://radiofreephoenix.com . It is a great internet station that plays an eclectic mix of music including unreleased tunes by Invisible Zoo, Elton Duck and other new wave bands.

Thanks for this great site. I have appreciated Invisible Zoo being remembered here.

I live in Rochester, NY...we have an exellent station up here called WBER. Though not a 'New Wave' station, they continuously mix New Wave songs in with new Alt/rock/pop songs. They can sometimes get a little metal for my taste but it's still good music.

Just today I heard a live recording of 'Lost in the Supermarket' by the Clash...awesome. Never heard that version before...and I know I wouldn't hear it ANYWHERE else in New York State...it's like 1976 up here as far as radio goes.
