I just loved his very first album alot.It was a great mixture of New Wave,Power Pop and Bubblegum.Did any of you ever hear his cover of the Bobby Fuller 4 hit "Let Her Dance? Man is that a great cover version.I may like it even better than the original version.It is ahrd to say because I think that both versions are just so good.It's a tossup.Phil also did a song that The Go Go's later covered in their early years way before they started having hits.The song was called "We Don't Get Along"

And of course who didn't like his own hit Precious To Me? Believe it or not,I just heard that song about 2 weeks ago on the radio on a radio station that plays alot of 80's music.I couldn't believe it when I heard it again.I really didn't think that it got much airplay when it was out originally,so that is why I couldn't believe it when I heard it again.Great 80's Power Pop.Another great Power Pop song from his first album is the song "I Found A Love"


Does anyone else remember Phil Seymour.After his two solo albums he started up a band called The Textones.I listened to their album,but It didn't grab me at all.It was nothing at all like Phil's solo work.

I remember Phil and also that Textones cd. Definitely was a great power pop type of guy.
