Spitballs

They did one great album of mostly cover songs,done in a more Power Pop style.The worst cover has to be their cover of "Chapel Of Love" from that album.Whoever was singing lead on that song,sure sounded alot like Lou Reed,but only Lou Reed if he were taking Exlax.The guy just couldn't sing period.

Has anyone else ever heard this album before,and if so what did any of you think of it?

SIMPLY AMAZING, of course i love anything on the Beserkley record company such as The Rubinoos, Greg Kihn, Jonathan Richman/Modern Lovers.. yes the Spitballs were a great folk new wavish band you could say

Spitballs was a one-time project made up of Beserkley all-stars including Greg Khin. It's very hit-and-miss IMHO.
