I just picked up Galore from a dealer in France for about $31. Thanks for the tip! I also have the Lazy compilation (bought it when it was released). And I have the Blancmange and Kirsty cds. And a very big credit card bill[:D]

Wow, was Happy Families released on CD?

I have been going through my vinyl during the holidays and listened from start to finish. It still sounds great.

It was issued, but has been out of print for years now.

Though many of the mega-rarities I had have been rereleased, (Let's Active-Cypress/Afoot, Toyah-Minx), I still have a few hard to find CD's:

I also have the rare Girls At Our Best CD, though since most of it was poorly mastered from vinyl, I made my own CD.

With One Way records gone, and Razor and Tie all but dead, there are a number of other titles that will be considered quite rare in the next year or so; stuff like Bow Wow Wow and Missing Persons. They are already out of print, as is Wounded Bird's Holly and the Italians CD's, the stuff they licensed from Virgin.

I also have to admit that several years ago I found that holy grail Colour Field "Virgins and Philistines" CD for $8. I had never heard it, and only purchased it out of curiostity, since I enjoyed some of the Fun Boy Three stuff. I HATED it! I played it several times and could not get into it. I didn't see it as New Wave at all, just a bit off the mark mainstream pop. I sold the CD back to a local record store, and maybe got $1 for it.

*rare to begin with, it's now out-of-print. Fun trivia: came with an extra "bonus" CD of "New Moon on Monday", which you could DL off their website---but only if you had Windows 3.1 or 95. Which I didn't. But maybe djsoss does!

Hm, not really sure what others I have. I never really tracked down CDs the way I tracked down albums, and I didn't even have a record player! I have more CD-Rs than CDs proper (bad me).
