What a great New Wave Power Pop they put out back in 1980.Did any of you ever hear it or buy it? It was superb.Paul Warren before going out on a solo career was once a member of the mid 70's version of the Soul R&B Motown band Rare Earth.But his solo album was nothing like that.The cover has a picture of Paul on the front playing a guitar,with two little children who look to be about 10 years old,wearing those 80's New Wave wraparound sunglasses.
The album included the minor hit "Taking Her Back" which did get some airplay at the time.He also did a very good cover of the old Gene Pitney hit "Town Without Pity" But it was only available as the B sided single to Taking Her Back.It wasn't available on their album.
