Most Over-hyped 80's Band?

I am not sure if this topic has been covered yet (I am too lazy to look). So forgive me if this has been discussed already, but what do you think were some of the most over-hyped bands of the 80's?

Sevral spring to mind for me:

Frankie Goes To Hollywood
Sigue Sigue Sputnik
The Power Station

All three received such hype but they were not worth it!

I agree with your choices, devildog. FGTH had a lot of self-hype, and I remember reading back in the 80s the bombastic idea of a band debuting with a double album, that they had that much confidence with material good enought to fill that much time. I mus

Easy....Talking Heads. Liked some of their stuff, hated a lot of it--and waaaaaaayyyyy overplayed!!!!!
