Hello everyone!
Does anyone here remember Rob Hegel? the song you would remember is called "Tommy, Judy & Me" he had the one record in 1980 on the RCA label and there was never anything else heard from him, if you guys know anything more about him, please clue me in!

I have a promo 45 of it around here somewhere (but not the album). It got up to #109 on Billboard. Always thought of it as a cross between Genesis' "Turn It On Again" and Paul Davis' "65 Love Affair."
In other words, I can't imagine anyone here will categorize it as new wave.

No, but it is a fun song.
I totally forgot about that track til it was mentioned.
I trying to figure out where I heard it back then. I figure it must have been 770 WABC in NYC - as it was still a music station then. Possibily WPIX 101.9 (?) as I think it was a playing a mix of Top 40/New-Wave at that time.
In any event, it brought back memories.
