I never understood the Goth facination with the Cure. Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, Siouxsie, I can see those bands. But the Cure had too many happy poppy songs to be goth. "Love Cats" is NOT a goth song!

UCK! OK MUST REPLY!!! Siouxsie & The Banshees were way to interesting to be tagged as Goths. The media classified them as that because the fucking media needs to put labels on everything. Siouxsie gets into the whole Goth thing, which the Banshees preceed

I love goth, and the look can be intriguing, but the attitude that goes with it is gross. Some of those people are just too uptight for my tastes and take themselves waaaaay too seriously.
