I was just thinking about overused lyrical cliches and the hacks that employ them and it seems to me that the number one cliche is "chains" (breaking them or otherwise being set free from them, being in them, etc....). These chains are mostly metaphorical and are usually found in heavy metal songs, but they do make the occasional appearance in NW songs as well. What songs can you think of that mention "chains"?

I'll start us off with:

Chains Of Love - Erasure
Woman In Chains - Tears For Fears

"Daisy Chain for Satan" by My Life With The Thrill Kill Cult is my favorite title.

And when did you pass 3000 posts? Was it anything significant or just an open love letter to your admirers? [}:)][;)]

It was yesterday sometime but I don't know which post it was [:D]. I did consider a huge "fuck you" letter to a select few but I stopped myself ... eheheh. How did you know? [}:)]
