They are also playing some, if not all, the new US Depeche Mode shows coming up. They are at the Mountain View, CA show on April 27th for sure.

They are ok. They are just a massive Interpol rip off, but that's not a bad thing.

Y' know, I totally dig these guys. (or rather, their music). I stumbled across them accidentally, loved it right away, and then I began seeing some reviews that emphasized the Interpol & Joy-Divisioned-flavor of their sound. After that, I listened to them again, fully expecting to get soured on it. But that didn't happen. I loooovvvve this stuff! Some of the lyrics are kind of off-putting, but I really enjoy their scary sound.[8D]

Definatly a great album. They remind me of Joy Divison so much.

Ohhh.. nooooo... She Wants Revenge-Joy Division comparisons all over again. I like She Wants Revenge so much better when I don't think of those comparisons.

Good band. Yeah a little similar to Interpol and not quite as good as them, but nevertheless, good stuff. Much better than the (overrated) Arctic Monkeys!

I picked up the CD at a pretty good price and think the following:

-I wish they'd have gone with a different cover; doesn't really suit the music

-every song is pretty consistent; they have a good formula and do a good job of employing it on each track. That's NOT necessarily a put-down; the Ramones did the same thing on their debut.

-About mid-way through the tracks the singer starts to sound similar to Phil Oakey; I don't hear this in the earlier tracks.

-None of the songs are necessarily catchy; you may not be humming these to yourself but every track has a nice hook of some sort and they all have a nice sound. For some reason I'm reminded of Information Society; they too had a good formula and employed it well on each song. Granted, to me both have a feel of 'disposability' to them, but it doesn't keep me from liking both.

-I think if you like one song you've heard, you will NOT be disappointed with the CD at all. I'm glad I have it.
