I'ts 5:30 P.M. E/S and I just saw the music video for XTC's "Ball & Chain"(!) on Classic VH1. I have not seen that video aired (then it was on MTV) since about 1989! I know you're reading this probably thinking "uh, okay - big deal". And you're probably right but, It's just great seeing any XTC videos on television. But in all my Classic VH1 viewing hours (there have been MANY) I usually see Mayor of Simpleton, Dear God or Senses Working Overtime (the bigger XTC singles).
A few weeks ago I saw the "Her Heads Revolving" video by The Three O'Clock! Long live the rarely seen clips!

Anyone here have any similar "wow, i haven't seen this video in ages" stories to share?

Not VH-1 classic, but two recent "hey, cool" moments for me:

Yesterday at the Virgin Music store, they blasted Personality Crisis by the New York Dolls. The old farts like me couldn't sit still, we were smiling and bobbing our heads.

Have you seen the new Cingular commericial for the pink Razr phone (might have been a Valentines promo)? They played Pretty in Pink... loud. Cool.

I've also seen some good use of T.REX's The Slider (a personal fave)
used in a Coca-Cola commercial. Very Cool.

And I also heard "Trash" by the NYDs on Retro-active (music choice channel). Very cool.

Saw Husker Du's "Could You Be The One" video on Classic VH1 earlier.

It's like bizzarro-world for me.
