Quick - - what's your favorite Squeeze song?

Why don't we EVER discuss this group?? Probably because they did get relatively popular and it IS more fun to discuss the more-obscure stuff.

But...come on...they WERE a great new wave group with some of the best-written songs anyone can lay claim to.

My vote?

Up the Junction, or Another Nail in My Heart, or maybe Messed Around or Labeled with Love from East Side Story. And I'm a sucker for "Footprints" from Babylon and on.

My favorites by them were mostly their b-sides, actually. "All's Well" would be my number one pick, with runner-ups being "Yap Yap Yap", "Night Nurse", and "Pretty One" (I'm a sucker for the Jools Holland boogie-woogie stuff). [:)]

I like a lot of Squeeze songs, but I have a sentimental fondness for "In Quintessence". I'm not even sure why. [:I]

Squeeze was a fantastic band! I was disappointed when they did not get back together on Bands Reunited. [:(!]

But, by far...by FAR my favorite squeeze song is "Last Time Forever" from Cosi Fan Tutti Frutti.

I'm not a huge fan of Squeeze by I always liked "Last Time Forever". I think it was the bass. I have the CD and I only listen to that song.

My absolute favourite Squeeze song has to be Touching Me, Touching You. Dirty, funny, and just plain brilliant.
