most 'consistent album-art' new wave artist ?

Lousy thread title, I know, but I was thinking of artists who either (a)put out consistently great album covers or (b) acts whose covers were so similarly-themed that you knew it was them before you even saw the title.
In the latter category I'd say the Smiths and Cocteau Twins were very consistent. The Smiths generally had relatively obscure 50's era B&W photos for their releases, especially the british versions (exception would be Queen is Dead, I guess). Cocteau Twins (and most 4AD releases) had very similar-looking album covers as well.
Who else?

DEVO LP covers for the most part were very consistently Devo. Kraftwerk as well.

The Cars always had gorgeous Vargas girls on the covers.

Talk Talk's album covers and singles always featured the artwork of James Marsh. I've always enjoyed his whimsical style -- you could spot his work immediately.

Talk Talk's covers always creeped me out. I guess that would make them effectively memorable in my case.

I have a couple of Marsh's nature-themed prints but let's just say I don't have "The Party's Over" cover with the crying mouth-eyes hanging over my bed ... that would probably give me nightmares!

NewOrder's Peter Saville cover designs FTW[8D] Those strange minimalist-esque covers; you can't go wrong with a Peter Saville cover.

Peter Saville's work with New Order and Joy Division (Closer cover=masterpiece) is really good.
Also The Smiths's covers are good.

I would have said New Order if not for the later ones (eg. the Marlboro man).
I started collecting Simple Minds because of the Malcolm Garrett/Assorted Images covers circa Sons and Fascination.
The original releases on Nettwerk Records were all great also (Steven Gilmore).

I would agree the Smiths did have a consistant visual theme through out all of thier artwork
