Just One Of The Guys Soundtrack...

Postby danadotcom » Thu Feb 23, 2006 9:58 am

Might anyone have an MP3 of Ronnie Spector's "Tonight You're Mine, Baby" from the Just One Of The Guys Soundtrack? I'd be eternally grateful if someone could float it my way since my vinyl has WARPED. I know, it's a tragedy that this hasn't yet made it to disc with all the small labels re-issuing such obscure titles these days. While I'm at it...Might anyone also have an MP3 of Darlene Love's "Ooowee Baby" from the Idolmaker Soundtrack? I'll be willing to trade anything from my library...

100% awesome, Franky! Thanks so much for coming up with this. I haven't heard this in quite a while, so hearing it this morning is a perfect way to begin the day. My most favorite New Wave and Punk is the stuff influenced by Phil Spector, Doo-Wop, Motown--all that great music. I especially love it when srtists from that era actually recorded material that was NW/Punk influenced themselves. For me it would have been a dream come true had Brenda Lee cut some tracks with The Ramones, like Ronnie did with Joey. Maybe someday... Thanks again, Franky!

I also hear that Darlene Love's version of "River Deep Mountain High" from Leader Of The Pack Soundtrack has been issued on CD...Does anyone have that to share? I'm willing to trade and have a huge collection. Hit me up with a wish list?
